Why People Failed Themselves

People fail in this life and the next because they are often drawn to worldly life. They are drawn to worldly life because of its immediate pleasures, material comforts, and fleeting joys. Pursuing wealth, status, and entertainment can be intoxicating, making it easy to forget the temporary nature of this life.

Allah reminds us in the Quran: “And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?” (Surah Al An’am 6:32).

This Ayah calls us to reflect and prioritize what truly matters—eternal success in the Hereafter. Those who fear Allah and live with purpose understand that this life is a test, and the real reward lies with Him in the next life.
